Default qiuck warm up?

Noticed this morning that my surf reached its working temp very quickly,i.e within 1 mile,is this normal? 94 3.0

Mine also does that. I think it's pretty normal but mine does have a bit of an overheating problem when under constant load. Getting rad changed and servicing viscous fan. Hopfully going to fix it but I would expect any change in warm up time.

Mine shows normal from 1/2 mile onwards on the surf guage, my newly installed temp guage just starts kicking in then at 40deg, by the time I've done 1-1/2 miles its sitting at 85deg, where it stays unless on an incline where it nudges 90. The standard has failed to move anywhere from 40deg on. I'm replacing the Viscous fan oil this week as I don't think its up to par and was probably the main cause of my blown head thanks to the stock guage being $hit. H
