Members Rigs Help


Viewing the rigs.



Using the button bar at the top of the Members Rigs section you can do the following.

1. Show All. All rigs will be shown, 10 Rigs to a page with Next, Previous and numbered page buttons.

2. Latest First. All rigs will be shown in order of the latest additions first. Again it is displayed 10 to a page with navigation buttons.

3. Chose a Category. You can display only those Surfs/4Runners that are in the model category (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Generation) that you chose. Select the category then press "go".

4. Username. Type in part or all of a Username (Forum Username) and all matching rigs will be shown.



Adding Your Rig


To add your rig to this part of the site you need to be a registered member of the forum.


Once you are logged on to the forum you will see two buttons at the top of all of the Members Rigs pages allowing you to "Add your Rig" and "Edit your Rig". You will also see a button to take you to this help page.


Select the "Add Your Rig" button and you will be taken to a new page with a form on it allowing you to select your model of Surf/4Runner and input some description text. You can change the look of your text using BB Codes. BB Codes are explained in the Forum Help / FAQ section.


Your forum username is already filled in - DO NOT change this otherwise you will not be able to edit later. You must also remember to select the model of Surf/4Runner otherwise it will not be displayed correctly.


Once you have filled all this out including your own website if you have one (Type this in the website box without the initial "http://") submit the form. You can now click on the Members rig button on the sidebar and go back to the front page.


You will need to go and edit your rig to add pictures.



Editing your rig


Select the "Edit your Rig" button and you will be taken to a new form which displays your username, website, description and any pictures that you have already submitted.


On this form you can edit the text, change the website details, delete existing pictures or add new ones.


Select "Add Picture" which will take you to a form allowing you to browse for a picture on your hard disk and upload it. You can also put in a short description which will pop up when you hover over your picture in normal display mode. During the upload process a thumbnail picture will also be created which will be shown on the display page. If this is clicked while viewing then a full screen one will show in a new window.
