Torque settings

Anyone confirm the torque settings and recommended tighting sequence for head bolts on a 2.4TD (2LT type engine). I have a Haynes Hilux/4-Runner manual that gives Following info:

1st pass 78nm
2nd pass turn additional 90 degrees
3rd pass turn additioanl 90 degrees
IS THIS OK FOR A SURF???

Any particular sequence, I'd assume across the corners for 1st/2nd pass and round clockwise for 3rd???

Any other re-assembly joints that have to be torqued??
