3 litre surf by end of the month (oct2014) please!

Anything 3 litre that looks reasonable. I don't mind dents but obvious rust is an issue unless its something easily replaced (like a bumper corner). It has to look fairly smart for when I visit customers. I'd prefer a 2nd gen but a 3rd gen is great if the price is low enough. I need something that will last more than a year, unlike the last 2 I bought (although both were under a grand so I can't complain). My budget is ideally a grand or so, I will go to two if it's worth it and will go higher for some little mod or extra I might like (eg a decent music system or 2" lift or especially well done tinting or perfect condition interior for example)

I will consider a petrol or a 2.4 and will pay a lot more for an LPG converted petrol
