  • whats the sequence for cylinder head bolts replacement

looked on the page about cylinder head removal.it mentions bolt sequence, but no order.also a bit unsure about the torque on the bolts.
i have one of those old wrenches about 14 inches long with a long needle going to ametal gauge at the end .is this ok
last thing ,it says on the page 78 some thing is this pounds per foot
thanks every one your always a great help to us novices

These are the torque settings just can't find the sequence at the mo

    2.4 2LT/E
    1st stage 58ft/lb 78nm
    2nd stage 90 degree turn
    3rd stage 90 degree turn.
Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.

as long as you start in the middle and work your way to the outside crossways thats ok, but remember to follow the sequence 3 times, tighten all bolts to stage 1, then all to stage 2 and finally all to stage 3
