  • Hose diameter?

Hi, i would be greatly appreciative if someone could tell me the internal size of the heater hose that connects to the control valve mounted on the bulkhead. I am would like to fit one of these but dont want to disconnect/refill just to measure it.

Would using one of these either side of the bleed valve be ok or would it be too restrictive of the flow?

Spot on that man! Just checked out their website and they sell them for £7.20 inc vat, for some reason though they want an extra £7.20 for postage unless ordered over the phone. Guess i'll be phoning them on monday.

                Thanks very much.

Yep, i ended up extending the cable and routing it through to the rear. It is currently glued in a nice hidden location on the rear spoiler, In the shade from the sun and as far as possible from the engine.(annoyed the tits off me till i got it sorted) But while the panels and stuff were off i wired and fitted a sub in the boot

I fitted these two from the above link, The construction seems quite good with brass knurled bleed valve thingys. When i cut the hoses to fit there was definatly air in the system as i lost much less coolant than i thought i would. I had previously filled the system via the heater hose and burped the system so i think they will be beneficial for me.
If you phone the order through they will post 1st class royal mail instead of the £7-odd as advertised on their site.
